Beef...It's What's For Dinner!
I so wish I had this awesome list of keto ground before recipes when I first began my low carb lifestyle.
I started the Keto diet because I wanted to finally live a healthy and fulfilling life, but I didn’t want to be just eating salads and veggies all day. Bottom line, I was looking for a new diet that doesn’t sacrifice delicious meals. Does that sound familiar?
Even more important, with two young boys I needed kid-friendly keto recipes and not just any ol’ keto dinner recipes or ideas. Sure, I had become pretty good at ordering low-carb at Taco Bell, but I knew I wanted to start eating my keto meals at home.
I put this list of keto ground beef recipes together because I wanted other people like myself to actually enjoy dieting and crush the stigma that dieting means eating bland and unsatisfying meals. Try out some of these keto ground beef recipes and start feeling healthier today!
- Ketowize -
Ready for something different, yet eerily familiar? This keto egg roll-in-a-bowl recipe tastes surprisingly similar to its carb-laden counterpart, but has only 2g net carbs per serving. This is one of those lazy keto meals with ground beef that literally tastes like the real thing. It’s no secret that Asian food makes a great keto main dish. Guess what’s for dinner tonight?
- Joy Filled Eats -
An easy casserole recipe that only requires 5 ingredients. I love casseroles because they’re easy to put together and create lots of leftovers for future meals throughout the week. Have some fun with the toppings! I typically put on some fresh avocado slices and salsa.
- The Weary Chef -
Move over, Italy. Mexico has a meatball recipe of its own that will make your mouth water. These cheesy meatballs are fatty, high in protein, and low in carbs. With a hint of spice and everything nice, I make this recipe at least once a month, and it’s one dish my whole family enjoys. This is one of the best family-friendly keto recipes I’ve come across yet.
- All Day I Dream About Food -
Have you been looking for some new keto dinner ideas with ground beef that don’t all taste the same? This delicious recipe replaces that carb-loaded fluffy gluten crust on a normal shepherd’s pie with two of my favorite things: cauliflower and cheese. What makes it taste even better is the fact that it’s made with half beef and half lamb.
- Big 92.5 Country -
Do you remember the bread bowls containing soup that you used to chow down at lunch and feel terrible after eating? Well, these are like that except you get to feel amazing after. Simply imagine a bowl made of delicious burger meat and stuffed with your favorite burger toppings…and you’ve got it!
- Home.Made.Interest -
These Low Carb Big Mac Bites are a keto recipe for mini bunless burgers that make a great low carb appetizer or game day food that everyone will love! But the real treat here? That delicious Big Mac sauce. It’s rich, creamy, and tastes just like your childhood.
- Dinner At The Zoo -
The only time I’ve seen my kids more excited is when Santa Claus is coming to town. They absolutely LOVE this recipe (and so do I). A meatloaf stuffed with smoked bacon and cheddar cheese. Enough said. To make this keto-friendly, swap out the panko bread crumbs for almond flour.
- Eat Well 101 -
This is the Philly Cheese Steak on a diet. Easy to make and beautiful to plate. These steak-stuffed peppers won’t disappoint.
- I Breathe I'm Hungry -
Nothing gets my taste buds singing like the marriage of ground beef, caramelized onions, and mushrooms. Don’t skimp on the cauliflower puree either. Sounds a little odd but it’s to die for!
- The Recipe Critic -
This recipe is packed with so much flavor. I love making it for my friends and family and watching the smiles form on their faces. Definitely worth pulling out the wok for. And while this truly is a Korean dish, the carrots, snap peas, mushrooms, and sesame oil make it reminiscent of some of our favorite keto Chinese food dishes. This one is definitely a “must try!”
- Savory Tooth Low Carb Recipes -
If you don’t yet have an instant pot, it’s like a slow cooker on steroids. This is the first time I’ve ever made burgers in a pressure cooker. All I can say is: I may never cook them any other way. Enjoy it with some BBQ sauce, tomatoes, and lettuce for a fabulous dinner. Plus, give the kids or hubby a bun, and this qualifies as one of our favorite family-friendly keto meals.
- Stay Snatched -
Casseroles. Burgers. Bacon. Food doesn’t get much more comforting than that. This might be the holy trinity of keto meals. I enjoy mine with some homemade pickles. If you’ve been looking for more keto dinner ideas for ground beef, definitely add this one to your meal plan.
- Sweet C's Designs -
If you haven’t gotten into one-pot recipes, now is the time! I served this once at a potluck, and I swear it was gone by the time I set it on the table. Top it off with some cheddar cheese, Monterey jack, and green onions for a stellar skillet. Sure, many quick and easy keto hamburger recipes all taste the same, but this unique dish is sure to be a crowd-pleaser.
- Ruled.me -
When I first saw this recipe, I almost started crying tears of joy. Since I’ve been on the keto diet, one of the things I miss the most is my mom’s beef stroganoff pasta dish. This stroganoff dish is amazing. Definitely one of those hamburger keto recipes I do when I want to really treat myself. Easily one of my favorite keto dinners on this list.
- Low Carb Maven -
Have you ever dreamed about eating tortillas made of cheese? This recipe will fulfill your everlasting taco desires. At first I was worried the shells would fall apart, but that’s not the case at all. So good.
- This Gal Cooks -
Made this recipe just the other day and it’s amazing. The title may sound a little odd, but trust me. It’s a winner. Be sure to go big with the full fat sour cream!
- Cast Iron Keto -
This is one of my favorite easy, quick taco skillets to make. Invest in a cast iron skillet. It will come in handy so many times with your new keto diet lifestyle. If I don’t have cauliflower rice on hand, I still enjoy it.
- That Low Carb Life -
At some point during your diet, you may start craving a cheese steak. This recipe will cure your hunger without the high carb intake. Garnish it with some fresh parsley for a nice herbaceous finish.
- The Low Carb Diet -
Nothing is better to warm up with than a hot bowl of chili with some melted cheddar cheese and sour cream on top. I even add some avocado slices when I have them. Living the low-carb life isn’t so bad when you’ve got delicious meals like this to look forward to!
- Wholesome Yum -
Until this recipe, I was always suspicious of cheeseburger soup. Thank goodness I got up the courage to try it. Pair the soup with a chicken salad or gluten-free crackers for a memorable lunch. I’ll sometimes make a big batch and put half of it in the freezer for later weeks.
- Keto Diet App -
Another one pot wonder that takes the gold! I love this dish because it not only tastes good, but makes your whole kitchen smell amazing as it cooks. Sizzling ground beef and spinach topped with melty mozzarella. Your eyes will dilate as you watch the cheese stretch as you grab a bite with your fork.
- Tasteaholics -
I’m a sucker for Asian fusion foods. This one is a huge hit in my family. There are a lot of different ways to make Asian-inspired crack slaw, but this one must be the best out there. Add a little fresh grated ginger for an extra flavorful kick.
- Home.Made.Interest -
I’m not ashamed to admit that I used to partake in a Big Mac from time to time. Now that I’m on keto and found this recipe, I really don’t miss the McDonald’s version. The sauce is what really makes this one worth enjoying. Sometimes I make a bunch of it just so I have it around for other meals that would benefit from it’s flavors.
- Low Carb With Jennifer -
I could probably eat this soup every day. It’s that good! It’s hearty, warming, spicy, and pretty much my favorite soup ever. Top it with some fresh cilantro and cauliflower rice if you have some handy. Sometimes I make a bunch of it just so I have it around for other meals that would benefit from it’s flavors.
- Paleo Leap -
The only thing better than a meatloaf is a bunch of tiny meatloaves. Make them in a muffin tin and it’s so easy and quick to bake. Did I mention they’re wrapped in bacon? Because they definitely are.
- Megan Seelinger -
This recipe is one of the easiest to prepare. It’s packed with wholesome ingredients and oh so tasty. There’s lots of cheese, sour cream, and fats to fulfill your keto quota with this one.
- Easyhealth Living -
One last ode to the Philly Cheese Steak on this list! Grilling the veggies for this one is absolutely worth the time and energy. They taste so different than roasted (much better in my opinion). And be sure to use provolone cheese. It’s not a real take on a Philly Cheese Steak unless you get some good cheese involved.
- I Breathe I'm Hungry -
We’re almost to the end of the list here. If your mouth isn’t watering by now, it’s time to grab a napkin. Portobellos are one of my favorite things in the world and this recipe really lets them shine. Actually I can’t think of a better way to enjoy these mushrooms than stuffing them with hot Italian sausage and cheese. It’s simply divine.
- Whole New Mom -
Last but definitely not least is the good ol’ Egg Roll in a Bowl! It’s fun to say and even more fun to devour. The best part of an egg roll is the inside of it. This recipe is showcasing just that. I’ll eat this meal any time of day. It makes a great leftover as well!
