With a name like Ketowize and the face of an owl in our logo, you might expect us to be super-serious all the time. Well, that couldn’t be further from the truth.
We love to laugh and have fun while dispelling some of the keto myths, squashing the “low-carb naziism” so prevalent on social media today, and helping you “Wize Up” about the keto and low-carb lifestyle.
Think of us like your food and diet obsessed friend who is really great at explaining things, loves to cook, and doesn’t mind doing whatever it takes to make sure YOU SUCCEED.
That’s what really makes Ketowize different. We care.

Who Is Scott Crider?
Ketowize was started by me, Scott Crider, in early 2018. What began as a simple idea has grown into something touching millions of people each month through web, social, and video channels. I’m greatly blessed and super excited to have you here.
I can’t wait share the low-carb and keto recipes I’ve developed, as well as help you along your keto journey with our guides and resources. This truly is a labor of love for me.
I live in Washington State with my wife, two sons, and Weimaraner Emma. While I now work “mostly full-time” on Ketowize, I still take on a lot of stay-at-home-dad responsibilities. I get to be involved in the lives of my sons and I wouldn’t trade it for the world!
In the cooking department, I’m a huge “foodie” and, if I could do it over again, I’m sure I would have become either a chef or a food critic. You see, I love eating just as much as I love cooking. (Hence the reason I’ve had to adopt the low-carb lifestyle.) And, I love all types of food, from vegan to southern BBQ.
There’s no limit to our recipes when it comes to type or cuisine, but I promise to keep it low-carb and keto friendly.
